Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Reddy across the web app, the iOS app, and every public page a candidate can reach without an account. They are written to be read — plain language first, legal precision where it matters.
- Reddy is a career-fair and recruiting-event platform for students, recruiters, and event organizers.
- You keep ownership of everything you put into Reddy. We only use it to run the service for you.
- AI features draft and rank. They never decide. A human reviews every hiring action.
- If you are a recruiter or organizer, you are responsible for the candidate data you collect through Reddy.
- The service is free during the current pilot. We will not charge you without asking first.
This summary is here to be useful, not to be binding. The full text below is what governs.
Agreement to these Terms
Using Reddy means you accept this agreement.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Reddy ("Reddy", "we", "us", or "our"). They apply when you access or use the Reddy web application, the Reddy iOS application, our websites, our public candidate-facing pages, and any related service we provide (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, submitting information through a Reddy page, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an employer, university, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" means both you and that organization.
Reddy is operated by Reddy. Our registered entity details and mailing address will be published in this section once incorporation is finalized. Until then, notices should be sent to legal@get-reddy.app.
What Reddy is
A system for running the conversations that happen at a career fair, and everything that has to happen afterward.
Reddy turns live, in-person recruiting conversations into structured, consented, ATS-ready records. It is used before, during, and after career fairs and similar recruiting events.
Where the Service runs
- Web application. Recruiter and student workspaces, role-specific onboarding, candidate review, follow-up assistance, reporting, and export. Reachable from a browser with no download.
- iOS application. Booth capture and event workflows for recruiters, manual candidate entry, direct ATS handoff, and student event, profile, and card workflows.
- Public pages. Pages a candidate can use without creating an account — shared profile links, booth pages, event invitations, and the candidate intake form a recruiter opens at the booth.
What the Service does
- Capture. QR exchange, resume scanning and parsing, business-card scanning, no-download candidate intake, and manual entry.
- Booth operations. Live queues, wait-time estimates, queue notifications, and session management during an event.
- Review. Candidate pipelines, ratings, tags, notes, voice notes transcribed to text, and role matching.
- Follow-up. Drafted follow-up messages and pitch assistance, always shown to a human before they are sent.
- Handoff. CSV export, Google Sheets sync, webhook delivery, and direct sync to supported applicant tracking systems.
- Reporting. Event and booth analytics for organizers, and print-ready reporting for leadership.
We change and improve the Service continuously. Features described here may be added, altered, or withdrawn — see Service availability and changes.
Who may use Reddy
17 and over, and you must be allowed to agree on behalf of whoever you say you represent.
You must be at least 17 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement, that you are not barred from using the Service under the laws of your jurisdiction, and that all registration information you provide is accurate and current.
Some events are restricted to attendees of a particular institution or to registered participants. Organizers and employers may impose additional eligibility conditions for their own events, and we will enforce those conditions on their behalf.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for what happens under your account.
You may register with an email address or through a third-party identity provider such as Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple. Some flows require verifying your email with a one-time code before you can continue.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly at security@get-reddy.app if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorization.
You may not share an account, sell access to one, or let another person use your account to represent themselves as you.
Roles and what each one can do
Students, recruiters, and organizers see different things and carry different responsibilities.
Reddy supports three roles. Your role determines what you can access and what obligations you take on under these Terms.
- Students and candidates. Build and share a profile and digital card, prepare for specific booths, join booth queues, share details with recruiters by QR, link, or intake form, and manage your own connections. You control what you share and with whom.
- Recruiters. Capture candidates at a booth, review and rate them, record notes, draft follow-ups, and hand structured records to your own recruiting systems. You are responsible for the candidate data you collect — see Candidate data.
- Organizers. Create and configure events and booths, invite employers, run live queues, and see event-level activity and reporting. Organizer reporting is aggregate. Organizers do not receive individual candidate records unless a candidate shared them through a normal connection flow.
Candidate data and your responsibilities
If you are a recruiter or organizer, the candidate data you collect is yours to answer for. We process it for you, under your instructions.
This section is the most important one for employers and universities, and it is the one enterprise procurement asks about first.
When a recruiter or organizer uses Reddy to collect information about candidates, that customer is the controller (or business, under US state law) of the candidate data. Reddy acts as a processor (or service provider) and handles that data only to provide the Service and only on the customer's documented instructions. Our roles are set out in full in the Privacy Policy.
If you collect candidate data through Reddy, you agree that
- You have a lawful basis. You are responsible for having a valid legal basis to collect, use, and retain candidate personal information, and for providing candidates with any notice their jurisdiction requires.
- You will not defeat the consent mechanism. Reddy's candidate intake requires an explicit, affirmative consent to share details with a named recruiter for recruiting follow-up, review, and handoff to a recruiting system. You may not misrepresent who you are, collect data outside these flows and import it as though it were consented, or use captured data for a purpose the candidate was not told about.
- You comply with employment law. You are responsible for complying with equal-opportunity, anti-discrimination, background-screening, and record-retention law in every jurisdiction where you recruit. Reddy is a tool; it does not make you compliant.
- You control what happens after export. Once you export candidate data or sync it to your own applicant tracking system, that copy is under your organization's control and these Terms no longer govern it.
- You will honor candidate rights. If a candidate asks you to correct or delete data you collected through Reddy, you are responsible for responding. We will assist you — see Data export and portability.
If your organization needs a signed data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, or a security review before an event, write to legal@get-reddy.app and we will provide them.
Acceptable use
Do not use a recruiting platform to harass, scrape, impersonate, or mislead.
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Upload or transmit content that is false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with an employer, university, or event.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, to another user's account, or to any system or network connected to the Service.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, except through a good-faith disclosure to security@get-reddy.app.
- Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or any other automated means to access the Service or collect data from it without our express written permission.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
- Send spam or unsolicited commercial messages to people whose details you obtained through the Service.
- Collect personal information about other users outside the flows the Service provides, or without the consent those flows require.
- Upload content that infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Use candidate data obtained through the Service to build a competing product, to train a machine-learning model, or to sell to a data broker.
- Circumvent any access control, rate limit, or entitlement check, or use the Service in a way designed to hide what you are doing.
Your content
You own it. We get only the permission we need to run the service.
You retain ownership of everything you submit through the Service — profile information, card designs, resumes, uploaded images, voice notes, ratings, tags, and connection notes ("Your Content").
You grant Reddy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service for you and for the people you share it with. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained in backups for the limited period described in the Privacy Policy, and except where we must keep something to comply with law.
We do not use Your Content to train machine-learning models, and we do not permit our AI providers to do so. See AI features.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit Your Content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
Feedback
If you send us a product idea, we can use it.
If you send us suggestions, feature requests, or other feedback, you grant us an unrestricted, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use it without obligation or attribution. Please do not send us anything you consider confidential.
Moderation, reporting, and blocking
You can report people and block them. We can remove content and suspend accounts.
- Reporting. You can report offensive, abusive, or inappropriate content or behavior at support@get-reddy.app. We review every report and act on it in a timely manner.
- Blocking. You can block another user to stop them viewing your profile or contacting you through the Service.
- Removal. We may review, filter, and remove content we determine to be objectionable, unlawful, or in violation of these Terms.
- Enforcement. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Where the violation is severe — impersonating a recruiter, harvesting candidate data, or endangering someone — we may act immediately and without prior notice.
AI features, and their limits
AI in Reddy drafts, extracts, and ranks. It never decides. A human reviews everything before it affects a person.
Reddy uses AI to draft follow-up messages and pitches, extract structured fields from resumes and business cards, transcribe voice notes, suggest candidate–role matches, normalize analytics values such as school and major names, and summarize sessions and booth research.
The commitments we make
- No automated decisions. Reddy does not automatically reject, screen out, rank-and-discard, or otherwise make an employment decision about any candidate. Every output is a suggestion presented to a person, who decides.
- Human review before it leaves. AI-drafted messages are shown to the sender for review and editing before they can be sent. Parsed resume fields are shown for correction before they are saved.
- No training on your data. Our integrations with AI providers are configured so that your data is not used to train their models. Data is processed transiently and not retained by the provider after the response is generated.
- Scores are not verdicts. Match scores and rankings reflect a comparison of stated skills and role requirements. They are not an assessment of a candidate's ability, character, or suitability for employment.
What you take on
- AI output can be wrong. Parsed resume fields can be misread, drafted messages can misstate facts, and match explanations can be unpersuasive or inaccurate. You must review AI output before you send it or act on it.
- You are responsible for any hiring, screening, or outreach decision you make, whether or not AI output informed it. Do not rely on an AI feature as the sole basis for an employment decision.
- Where you use Reddy's AI features in a jurisdiction that regulates automated employment tools — including New York City, Illinois, Colorado, and the European Union — you are responsible for the notices, disclosures, bias auditing, and human-oversight requirements that apply to you as the employer. We will provide the technical information you need to meet them.
The providers we use and the data sent to each are listed in the Privacy Policy.
Integrations and destinations
You connect your own tools. What lands there is yours.
Reddy can hand candidate records to systems you control: CSV download, Google Sheets, an outbound webhook (for example to Zapier or Make), and direct sync to supported applicant tracking systems including Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Teamtailor, and Breezy HR.
- Your credentials. You supply the API credentials for your own systems. You are responsible for the permissions those credentials carry and for revoking them when someone leaves your team.
- Availability. Third-party systems change their APIs. Some destinations are offered as Beta until we have verified them against live credentials — see Beta features. We are not responsible for a third-party system's availability, behavior, or data handling.
- After handoff. Once a record reaches your system, your organization controls it. Deleting it in Reddy does not delete the copy in your ATS.
Device permissions
Camera, microphone, photos, notifications. Each is asked for at the moment it is needed.
Some features need access to your device. We request each permission the first time you use the feature that needs it, never on launch.
- Camera. Scanning QR codes to exchange details, and capturing resumes or business cards for parsing.
- Microphone. Recording voice notes about a conversation. Audio is transcribed to text; the recording is discarded and only the text is kept.
- Photo library. Choosing profile photos, headshots, and logos for your card. We access only the images you pick.
- Notifications. Queue position changes, connection activity, event reminders, and service alerts.
You can revoke any permission at any time in your device settings. Doing so limits the related feature but does not affect your account or your stored data.
Data export and portability
Your data can leave whenever you want it to.
You can export a copy of your data from your privacy settings at any time. Recruiters can additionally export candidate records as CSV or push them to a connected destination.
Exports are provided in standard, machine-readable formats. Once an export leaves the Service, securing it is your responsibility — an exported candidate list is personal data, and it is now in your custody.
Beta and early-access features
Some things are labelled Beta. Those are provided as-is and can change or disappear.
We label features as Beta, Preview, or Early Access when they are still being validated — currently this includes direct ATS destinations pending live credential verification. Beta features are provided without warranty of any kind, may be changed or withdrawn at any time, may have lower reliability, and are excluded from any service commitment we otherwise make. Do not rely on a Beta feature for a business-critical workflow without a fallback.
Service availability and changes
We aim for reliability but do not promise uptime during the pilot.
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service. Where a change materially reduces functionality you rely on, we will give reasonable advance notice unless the change is required for security, legal compliance, or to prevent abuse.
The Service is currently offered without a contractual uptime commitment. If your organization requires a service level agreement, contact legal@get-reddy.app.
Fees
Free right now. We will not start charging without telling you first.
Reddy is currently offered free of charge. We may introduce paid plans or paid features in future. If we do, we will give advance notice and disclose pricing clearly before any charge applies. No fee will ever be charged without your explicit agreement.
Any in-app purchase made through the Apple App Store is processed by Apple and subject to Apple's payment terms.
Suspension, termination, and deletion
You can leave and take your data. We can remove you for cause.
You may delete your account at any time from your privacy settings. Deletion is permanent: it removes your profile, card, connections, uploaded files, and associated records from our active systems, on the timeline described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your use creates legal risk or harms other users, or if we are required to by law. Where circumstances allow, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination do — including Your content, Feedback, Disclaimers, Limitation of liability, Indemnification, and Governing law.
Our intellectual property
The product is ours. Your content is yours.
The Service — its software, design, interface, branding, and underlying technology — is owned by Reddy and protected by intellectual property law. Except for the rights expressly granted here, you receive no licence to it.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from any part of the Service, nor reverse engineer or attempt to extract its source code, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice with the information required by the DMCA to legal@get-reddy.app.
Third-party services
We rely on other companies to run Reddy. Their terms apply to their part.
The Service depends on third parties for authentication, hosting, storage, AI processing, email delivery, push notifications, analytics, and integrations. The current list, and what each one receives, is published in the Privacy Policy.
Your use of a third-party service you connect yourself is governed by that provider's terms. We are not responsible for third-party services' practices, content, or availability.
Apple App Store terms
Standard Apple-required clauses for the iOS app.
If you obtain the Service through the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that: (a) these Terms are between you and Reddy, not Apple, and Reddy alone is responsible for the Service; (b) Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support; (c) if the Service fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, if any, and Apple has no other warranty obligation; (d) Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to the Service, including product liability, consumer protection, or intellectual property claims; and (e) Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Disclaimers
The service is provided as-is, and AI output is not a hiring decision.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
AI-POWERED FEATURES ARE PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL AND DRAFTING PURPOSES ONLY. THEY ARE NOT AN ASSESSMENT OF ANY PERSON AND MUST NOT BE RELIED ON AS THE SOLE BASIS FOR ANY HIRING, SCREENING, OR OTHER EMPLOYMENT DECISION.
WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ANY RECRUITING OUTCOME. REDDY DOES NOT PROMISE THAT A CANDIDATE WILL BE CONTACTED, INTERVIEWED, OR HIRED, OR THAT AN EMPLOYER WILL FIND SUITABLE CANDIDATES. WE ARE NOT AN EMPLOYMENT AGENCY AND WE ARE NOT A PARTY TO ANY RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN A CANDIDATE AND AN EMPLOYER.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
Our liability is capped, and we are not liable for indirect losses.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REDDY AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE, THE SERVICE — WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100).
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnification
If your use of Reddy causes a claim against us, you cover it.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Reddy and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, liability, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with your use of the Service, Your Content, your handling of candidate data, or your breach of these Terms or of any applicable law.
Governing law and disputes
Delaware law. Talk to us first, then arbitration — with a small-claims exit, a class-action waiver, and a one-year deadline.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and without regard to the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
- Talk to us first. Before starting a formal proceeding, contact legal@get-reddy.app and give us 30 days to resolve it in good faith. Most disputes end here.
- Arbitration. If we cannot resolve it, disputes will be settled by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, seated in Delaware, before a single arbitrator.
- Small claims. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies.
- Injunctive relief. Either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or prevent unauthorized access.
- No class actions. Disputes will be brought only in an individual capacity. You and Reddy each waive any right to participate in a class, collective, or representative action, to the extent permitted by law.
- One-year limit. Any claim relating to the Service must be brought within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred, to the extent permitted by law.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction whose law gives you mandatory rights to a local forum, this section does not deprive you of them.
Changes to these Terms
We will date every change, and flag the material ones.
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes we will give notice in the Service before they take effect.
Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the Service and delete your account.
General
The standard closing clauses.
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Reddy about the Service, and supersede any earlier agreement or understanding about it.
- Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest of the Terms remain in full force.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Force majeure. Neither party is liable for a failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
- Notices. We may give notice through the Service or to the email address on your account. Send notices to us at legal@get-reddy.app.
- Export and sanctions. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US embargo and are not on any US government restricted-party list, and you agree to comply with applicable export control and sanctions laws.
- US government users. The Service is "commercial computer software" under FAR 12.212 and DFARS 227.7202; government use is subject to these Terms.
- Language. These Terms are drafted in English. Any translation is provided for convenience, and the English version governs.
